Dear All,
A "
Youth Business Development"(YBD) Competition by
Oxford University, England, is coming up, which may definitely be of interest to you as ED students. The YBD committee has sent an
email to Director Sir regarding this competition,
which is attached below.
Inamdar Sir has encouraged all of us to participate in this competiton and would also like to say the following:
a) He would be willing to spare time for consultation and
coining the 1 page summary in way that it would be attractive to Oxford
b) Helping team/s to
crystallize their ideas and take part in YBD
c) After the models on the subject are built; we will request Director sir for his time and guidance
on finalizing the plans before actually submitting them to OXFORD.
Dr Sutaone sir will also be able to guide you on any operational details that you may want to talk about in person.
Hope we can take advantage of this opportunity, and achieve something for CoEP in the process!

Dear Dr Sahasrabudhe,
Greetings!
Please allow us to introduce ourselves as the organizing committee members of this year’s Youth Business Development (YBD) competition. YBD is a global competition organized by the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford to promote entrepreneurship among young students, aged between 16 and 25, from all over the world. To achieve its primary objective of empowering young and ambitious individuals to make the world a better place to live, the competition connects qualified participants with MBA students, who mentor them to transform their raw ideas into investment-ready business plans. These plans are then presented to a panel comprised of experienced entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and academicians, which selects the best proposal and awards £2000 as seed capital to the winning team.
To participate in this year’s competition, teams of 3 – 5 eligible candidates must send a 1-page summary of their idea to
y...@sbs.ox.ac.uk before May 1, 2011 clearly indicating the country they represent on the subject of their email. An ideal pitch should answer the following questions:
1. What is the idea?
2. What will be its impact?
3. How do you plan to execute it?
Please revert to us should you need any additional information.
Sincerely,
YBD 2011 committee
