In case of any technical issue – you can Call Navin - 9822020096

Please make sure students go through below instructions very carefully -

Instructions:

•         This is pre-interview preparation for Software Engineers at GS Lab.

•         Your answers for these questions will be used by the interviewer during the interview.

•         We expect this activity to take about 1 hour of your time. However, feel free to use more 30 minutes of time if necessary.

•         Getting the answers correct is more important than finishing on time.

•         You will be asked some multiple-choice questions followed by some subjective/programming questions and the answers will be made available to the interviewer.

•         Note: the programming questions are extremely important.

•         It is unlikely that you will be called for an interview if you are not able to submit working programs.

•         We encourage you to write your program in an IDE of your choice, compile it, run it, ensure that it produces the expected output, and then submit the working program.

•         Note: read the instruction for the programming questions very carefully. Most errors are caused because of students not reading the instructions carefully.

•         The programming questions are mandatory. You cannot proceed with the   test until you have submitted a full, correct, working program for  the two programming questions in the test.

•          For the programming questions, after submitting a program you have to  wait a minute or two for the system to evaluate your program.

•          You will  not be allowed to proceed with the test until you have written a  correct program.

•          Do NOT Submit an answer for manual evaluation unless you have read the  system generated feedback carefully, and are *sure* that you have   written a correct program. Because if your program is found to be wrong, you will  not be allowed to proceed with the exam.

•         When a program you submitted is found to be incorrect, READ THE  FEEDBACK carefully before resubmitting.

•         Students who keep   re-submitting a program with the same mistakes repeatedly will be  penalized.

•         If you're writing a C program, make sure it is standard C. Do not use  any MicroSoft or TurboC specific code like conio.h, getch, getche,  clrscr.

•         We encourage you to compile and run your program and then submit the answer , you can use C complier

A note on cheating:

•         Do not copy or cheat in any other way.

•         The system we are using is extremely good at detecting cheating.

•         If two programs are found to be similar (even if not exactly the same), both students will be disqualified, irrespective of who wrote the original program and who copied.

•         If answers to the essay questions are directly copy-n-pasted from the internet, you will be disqualified.

Harshada
