Dear Distinguished COEPians,
It is a great privilege and Honour for us, that under the guidance of our Board of Governors member Mr. Pratap Pawar, COEP administration is committed to supporting the “Make in
India” vision of Hon’able Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, by engaging our distinguished alumni, much valued corporate partners, and most enterprising students to identify and implement actionable plans to enable creation and development of enterprises led
by COEPians that make goods and services in India.
To have a deliberate discussion over the same a meeting between 7pm to 8 pm is arranged followed by dinner that has been organized on Saturday, 30th January 2016 at Hotel Le Meridian, Pune.
The topics to be discussed during the meeting are as mentioned below.
(1) Market forces driven import substitution strategies as startup business model for
engineering professionals & students.
(2) Bhau Institute of Innovation, entrepreneurship, & Leadership as catalyst for connecting alumni, leveraging resources, and creating high-impact fundable startups build by alumni & students.
Mr. Pratap Pawar, COEP Board member will address the gathering. Mr. Shekhar Kulkarni who has created a very successful business in import substation domain will lead the discussion on opportunities in that space and Jeet Vijay, who is the CEO of Bhau institute and Former Assistant Vice Chancellor at University of Texas System will seek the guidance of alumni on topic creating COEP startup ecosystem.
