I'm using the runrepositoryfetch.bat to generate a code swarm and it
works. I've created by own .config to customize my output, but I
cannot figure out how to specify the timeframe to show?
How do I change the default number of commit messages that are used
from the SVN log? Or even better, how can I specify a specific
timeframe?
I didn't see any obvious settings in the sample configuration file.

That's not an option that we support at the moment.
However, it'd be fairly easy to write a bit of code to filter the
event xml for only the time-range you're interested in with your
favorite scripting language. Really the trickiest part would just be
parsing the start and end dates that you're interested in.
