Requirement details:
Job Title: Computer Operator Senior
Location: East Providence, RI
Duration: 6 months

Deliverables: criteria/results by which success can be measured:
· Monitor and support the work flow, throughput, availability,
and functionality of a large scale multi-platform data processing
environment. Monitoring responsibilities include: execution of batch
jobs (production and test environments), reception and transmission of
files, system utilization, subsystem response times, functionality of
system software and hardware, network connectivity between all
subsystems, network connectivity to all users, and environmental
conditions of all hardware (local and remote). Monitor network and
services for faults and alarms.
· Respond swiftly to all alerts, repairing or escalating
issues as appropriate. Act as escalation point for technical issues.
· Work closely with internal customers to assure continued
quality of service. Multi-platform Operation Services operates on a
24/7 schedule directly supporting other technology groups and allowing
them to allocate their resources more efficiently.

Technical Knowledge:
· APPLICATIONS; CA-7; CICS; Data Center Client Operations; HP-
UX; JCL; Legato; MVS; Netview; NETWORK; OPS/MVS; PEP+

People Management:
· Provide technical support and coaching to team members
· Strong command of English Language
