Breaking videos up into 10 minute chunks potentially unnecessary

Uploading a single video per subject would allow easier access on devices other than traditional computers. Youtube allows certain users to upload videos longer than 15 minutes.

I think the educational value of the videos would be justification for increasing the limit beyond 15 minutes.

By the way, the videos are great.

Thanks.

I got the ability to post long videos more than a year ago, but several people told me they prefer the shorter videos because it helps them take the units in smaller chunks. The smaller chunks also make it easier for to make revisions because I can upload smaller videos (and if people link to a playlist rather than an individual video, the link doesn't break when I modify the video). What's the problem with short videos on mobile devices? Is there another solution?

I prefer long videos too, since the playlists on youtube are very buggy sometimes and it'd leave only one central place to comment and rate, which would resolve in a better communication I assume
