Hi,

Could anyone please indicate where to find some sample command line or syntax/doc for wsrep_notify_cmd please ?
I did not find this information on Galera web site or wiki.

120326 22:13:16 [Note] WSREP: wsrep_notify_cmd is not defined, skipping notification.

Thanks.
BR,

Laurent

The syntax is at
http://www.codership.com/wiki/doku.php?id=notification_command

There is also an example script in the docs directory after you install
rpm/deb

Alex

Hi Alexei,

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for your answer.
I had already found this URL but there is no sample command detailed there and was not having any idea on how to use the command arguments !? I think you should include the script mentionned below on this page so it will simplify the access to this information for others people.

which was holding the sample script you were probably talking about. Please note that the debian package does not seems to have it.

By examining it, I've finally understood that commands arguments were passed by the wsrep API/mechanism to the command we set with wsrep_notify_command and so we can use the variables passed through the script. This was not clear for me sorry.

Thks again for your time and reply.

BR,

Laurent

Hi Laurent,

Thanks for pointing the Debian issue out, it will be fixed in the next
release. I also added a link to the script in the wiki.

Regards,
Alex
