Hi,

I would like to know if Galera supports a dual-stack (IPv4/IPv6) configuration between cluster members. Specifically, can the following setting in my.cnf work as expected, or are there any additional parameters that need to be configured?

wsrep_cluster_address=gcomm://2001:470:edb5:6cb5::45,192.168.0.167

Are there any known limitations or best practices for using both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses within the same Galera cluster?

Thanks

Hi,
This is not entirely impossible but was never tested and no provision was done to get it to work. By default galera node binds to all interfaces, so probably it depends on whether on your system IPV6_V6ONLY is set by default.
