I try to configure a Mariadb Galera Cluster. The replication is doing fine. But now, which tool would give me access to this cluster through a single Virtual IP ? No need of load balancing, just moving the virtual IP from one node to another if the node goes down. Lowest configuration is better, without a Single Point of Failure ! Thank you !

Hello,

We do not endorse any particular failover-handling solution, but you may
wish to look at DNS-based solutions, where one host name is mapped to one or
more node IPs . You will need a monitoring script that modifies the host ->
IP mapping on the DNS servers if a failure is detected, but you may be able
to avoid complex network configuration at the IP and lower levels.

You may also wish to look at MySQL drivers/connectors that allow more than
one IP to be specified at connection time. If a node is down, such
connectors are supposed to try to connect to another node internally without
additional infrastructure.

Thank you, the DNS-based solution seems to be the best solution for me.
