cannot revert patches, I get an ascii error

Hello,

I'm getting this error when I try to revert a patchset:

Sorry, an error occurred...

Unhandled exception.

Details: 'ascii' codec can't encode characters in position 990-991: ordinal not in range(128) [UnicodeEncodeError]

I'm not using any crazy characters here, my message is very simple.
