Somehow the App Engine rewrites my @gmail address to @googlemail when
logging in to rietveld. In turn codereview creates a new Account for
me and I can't access my previous patches and comments anymore... :-(

Can anyone confirm this behavior? Is this a problem/feature of App
Engine 1.1?

It might well be. There are some changes related to googlemail.com in
the release notes:

http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/wiki/SdkReleaseNotes

I'll bring this up internally.

And the immediate response came: it's supposed to be this way. Your
address *is* albrec...@googlemail.com. There was a bug previously
where this was incorrectly rewritten as @gmail.com. That bug has now
been fixed.

Yes, this means that you can't edit issues you owned any more. I
recommend that you just create new issues; I can close the old ones
for you through the admin console but I doubt I can change their
ownership...

NP, everything is public so I can restore it if necessary... ;-)

I only have some unpublished comments on Ondrej's patch, but since I
had no time the past few days to review and publish them it's going to
be ok to wait for his next patch set.
