Bash script to refresh oauth2 token

There are bash scripts available to refresh the oauth2 token, but they require the client id and secret for the application. Since these are presumably not available to us, is there any other way to refresh the oauth2 token from bash, i.e. without using a browser? 

Our repositories are on headless servers, so the token refresh process is very cumbersome, not to mention shockingly primitive.
