Castlebar Coderdojo will return 13th Sept

Hello students and parents,

     Castlebar Coderdojo will return on 13th Sept at St Geralds College. GMIT will support Castlebar Coderdojo by helping with mentors. Thanks to St Geralds and GMIT for their support.

The dojo will run every Saturday for 13 weeks. We will run two structured scratch courses. If you are new to coding or scratch we have beginners scratch and we have a small class for advanced scratch. 

There are limited spaces available. We are offering these places to our existing students. If we have too many requests for places, we will hold a lottery for them.

We are looking to get sponsorship for running costs from companies or groups interested in backing the dojo.

If anyone would like to help out with looking for sponsorship, Please let us know.

Also the administration will transfer over to GMIT mentors and Parents. Thanks to all those Parents who said they would like to help out. If you are interested in helping out come to the first dojo on 13th Sept and we can discuss the future direction of the dojo.

If you are interested in a place in new dojo scratch course please email mayo...@gmail.com, with the name of student and which level they would like to attend beginner and advanced.
