Start a Girls Who Code Club!
Dear Joshua,
Thank you for your dedication to helping Girls Who Code close the gender gap in technology! Here’s how to start a Girls Who Code Cluband bring computer science opportunities to middle and high school girls in your community. With you as our partner, we could reach 40,000 girls across the US by the end of the academic year!
Girls Who Code Clubs are FREE after-school programs for 6-12th grade girls to use computer science to impact their community and can be hosted in schools, universities, libraries, community centers, faith-based organizations, or nonprofits.
To start a Club you need:
  • Space to host the Club.
  • Computers and internet connection for each Club student.
  • An employee who will be responsible for leading the Club and communicating with Girls Who Code.
NOTE: Our self-guided curriculum is designed so that anyone with teaching experience can facilitate a Club. No computer science experience is necessary!
Contact us at cl...@girlswhocode.com with any questions!
Best,
Girls Who Code
