I think rooms worked very well on Monday night

The bad

We got 2 emails from the nightclass coordinator ( who acts as our 'link' between us and school )

Hi Bob

A large pencil case containing 2 pairs of glasses was also left in room 8. It has ACAMS Risk Assessment written on it. I have left it in the main office.

thanks

Dear Bob

The cables in Room 8 were not in place this morning. The teacher who uses this room is having difficulty getting his computer working. He notes that the visualiser has also been interfered with.

Unfortunately our technical support in the college is very limited. I have mentioned in the past that one loose cable can cause a lot of hassle here at 9am, as 30 students wait for an Irish teacher to determine the issue and sort it out.

I am sorry to have to come to you with this story. Perhaps you could have a word with the group that used room 8 last night.

I believe it is unlikely that someone interfered with the cables this morning, but I may be mistaken.

Kind regards

Room 8 is arduino room. I assume it was simply overlooked.

Why its important is we depend on school to provide building. The school principle is cc'ed. Reputation is slowly built up

, but quickly lost.

I think we should be able to use rooms and nobody should be aware we were there. Keeping

goodwill is important. What I propose is if you use overhead, check afterwards it works as before.

I will simply respond that ;

  • it was a once off
  • all mentors have been reminded of implications for teachers
  • a process has been put in place to validate equipment after use

The ho-hum

As you probably know,I have being making noises re stepping away. Cormac and Sreeni are doing a terrific job as Dojo  Champions. Thus I feel very comfortable finishing up at the end of this term.
