Hope you are all well and had a nice summer.
As things look to be heading in the direction of something resembling normal, I thought we should have a meeting to get everyone’s views on what we should do and how we should do it for our next season.
The bigger part of this meeting will probably be spent discussing whether we will return to in-person sessions and the logistics needed to put this in place.
Rather than having an agenda I have outlined a few points for discussion below.
• I’ve been on a few calls with Darren from the CoderDojo Foundation and they’re suggesting people plan for in person sessions from Oct 22. Do people think this is feasible?
• What would be the response from the school?
• Social distancing, queueing to get in and out etc.
• Hygiene, cleaning of desks, loaner laptops etc.
• Ventilation.
• Contact Tracing.
• How do we ensure people stay at home if they are unwell?
• Extra people/mentors to help out with all the above.
I have set up a doodle poll for various times next Friday, Saturday or Sunday here https://doodle.com/poll/ubqpa6wfd6rn4sgd please tick all times that suit you. Apologies for not being available on Saturday morning.
We will use Teams if that works for everyone.
