Hello everyone,
Can someone clarify what being part of the Raspberry Pi Foundation means?
As CoderDojo Foundation benefited primarily dojos in Europe, does this mean the same for Raspberry Pi?
What relationship, if any, does this give to individual dojos in the US?
I have spoken to a staff member at local Raspberry Pi office and this person told me that his office was new and that he new nothing of the relationship or what it meant for us either.
Does this mean we can receive funding? Discounts on Pi's? Support on curriculum?
On a separate but somewhat related note, can individual dojos become part of a non-profit that charges for non-coderdojo activities that are then in part used to fund the individual dojo's free activities?
Or would that mean the club can no longer be a dojo and we'd have to change the name?
Any dojo champions incorporated as a non-profit and have some experience they can share?
