SAVE THE DATE!
The kids Game Jam #KGJ is an annual VideoGame Creation Challenge (by Scratch) among teams of children and teen from 7 to 16 years of age.
All teams will have their own skills in creating a new video game that respects the Topic chosen by the organizers. The JAM’s first round is made at the same time all over the world in all schools and CoderDojo clubs attendees for the event;
the final stage will take place in a location, chosen by the organizers.
If you want join the jam with your Dojo you must organize an event on january 26-28.
Little jammer must partecipate in team of minimum 3 and maximum 5 kids divided in two categories of participants: 7-12 years old and 12-16 years old.
Each Team must make a video game as complete as possible and in 72 hours available for JAM that originally interprets the topic of the jam.
The best ranked teams in each category will get to the April final.
The final will decide the 2018 winners. During this event Kids Jammers will work together, creating, mistaken, experimenting to create something unique that alone would not be able to create.
In fact, jam is not a race against each other, but a challenge that the little coder can win only TOGETHER !
Kids and teens are the best companions and users of video games, it is also fair to give them the opportunity to have fun, create, and live an unforgettable time to share with other small but great developers around the world.
We hope that we can corrisponde to the team chosen for the final a reasonable fee to cover cost to partecipate.

- Find a location for your event
- Choose time and date
- Plan your event
- sign up your event by January 19, 2018 http://www.kidsgamejam.org/en/register-local-event/
- promote the event
- invite teams and individuals to partecipate, you can compose team even during the event.
- Follow the organizers guideline
- If you need halp call the local ambassador or Kgj volunteers
