My name is Benjamin Doyle.

As an Eagle Scout, in the districts flagship program Scout Reach, I host extracurricular activities for children in Cub Scouts and, kids in the Boy Scouts of America teaching life skills and learning strategy.

As a Program Aide, I serve low income areas, support for homeless and, at-risk youth of multiple ethnic origins to sponsor urban development, community enrichment and, neighborhood revitalization.

I am concerned with coding for tomorrow, curious to know how I can be involved and, interested in mentoring too.� I realize the coderDojo, that is Indy, meets at Arsenal Tech in the Chase Legacy Center....

Hi Benjamin,

We have basically 2 classifications: members and mentors. As a youth program, the mentors aim to help answer questions and direct the members towards material that will help them level up or achieve their goals. Members hack on their own stuff and just as importantly help each other. Creating a community is an important part of the vibe.

Interested volunteers have a form we need filled out for the legacy center. members just need to grab a spot. sign ups happen monthly on http://zen.coderdojo.com/dojo/38 for those (don't worry there are typically openings).

Great to hear about all your leadership opportunities and volunteer work and obviously would love your help for outreach and getting the word out to more kids.
