Need to know Mentor availability Wednesday 4 Nov - may not be able to run session

A number of mentors are not available next Wednesday due to Web Summit and other obligations.

(Harold and I are bringing 5 from Dún Laoghaire to the RDS for the day!)

Could anyone who is available respond to this message please?  We would need probably 7/8 including someone at check in.

If by say 3 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon, not enough mentors have committed, I think it best to cancel the Wednesday session, and will email everyone to let them know.

I was going to offer some more places as some have left, but will hold off until the following week to reduce the pressure!

If someone could volunteer to be the main check in person, I could drop the labels etc to them in advance?

If a "non tech" person could go around seeing if someone needs help, and getting them together with another attendee who knows the solution, I think that would be a good evening's work!

I'm off Johnstown Road in Cabinteely.

There's a sign sheet for mentors, and blank labels for them to write their names on.

There's a list of names for the kids, all you need to do is tick them off, and note if anyone leaves early (this is in case of evacuation, that we know if people have already left).

There are sheets of labels with the kids names on.

If you can get someone to start the big screen up, I've loaded a couple of videos to show - just short ones about George Boole seeing as how it's his 200th birthday - that would be great!

Thanks for that - ideally I'd prefer not to have to bring it in (want everything to fit in small bag tomorrow!) - I won't have any chance to get to IADT as out early in the morning.

Wondering if you might be able to go by my house if you're going to be on Johnstown Road anyway - I could leave it under the door mat?
