Event Grant Application from CoderDojo Dún Laoghaire

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please find attached an application from CoderDojo Dun Laoghaire for a Community Grant of €800.

CoderDojo is a global collaboration for free and open learning for young people aged 7 to 17, especially in programming technology.  There are now over 800 dojos world-wide in approximately 70 countries.  CoderDojo Dún Laoghaire is based in IADT on Wednesday evenings, and Monkstown Educate Together on Sunday mornings, with 100+ children overall attending each week during term-time. 

We would like to encourage the children to work with Raspberry Pis, which have been developed in the UK with the intention of promoting the teaching of computer science to schoolchildren.  (More information at https://www.raspberrypi.org/)
