Hi Group - any demand to cover Arduino?

All, some other groups have run some sessions around the Arduino - see this link and also their project sites. This seems to be suited towards kids that have mastered Scratch and are now keen to learn different languages.


Bray are currently looking to purchase kits on behalf of other groups and is about to place a batch order. 

If any parent wants to purchase a kit NOW please let us know so we can piggyback onto their order, otherwise as a group we can look back at this around September time.

Clearly we need to get enough students with kits to warrant running sessions on this topic

I think the Arduino would be a great follow on from Scratch - that is assuming it is S4A ( Scratch 4 Arduino) and not the C language..
Count us in for a kit

I owuld be insterest in Matthew going for tyhis in the future once he is a bit better at Scratch.
I already have a Arduino Diecimilo but this is a couple of years old and so it might not be compatible with what you's have planned.
