Hi All,
Hope you are all well and you are all looking forward to the next CoderDoJo which is on Sat 19th May, this will be our penultimate DoJo before the summer break and tickets are available now see link below.
You will notice that we are moving from using Eventbrite to the zenCoderdojo platform for booking the event - you will see the instructions as you try to book. This is for a number of reasons, lately I have become aware of some issues the terms and conditions of eventbrite and also you may be aware of the new GDPR regulations coming into effect in a few weeks. While we don't keep a lot of personal data on everyone - only your supplied email address and names plus some attendance data, I felt it would be best to come under the umbrella of the Coderdojo movement for this. You may have to register with the service which will make it easier to inform you in the future of upcoming events. If there are any issues with booking let me know. We have a new email address of in...@coderdojodundalk.ie which you may use (it forwarded's to my email address).
Special mention for mentors, we need you !!! thanks to those that made it over the last few sessions but with the exam season in full swing here some of the Student mentors will not be available so if you can spare the time the Nijna's will really appreciate it.
As usual we will have the 'Pizza Fund' and a BIG thanks to all who contributed, all contributions are greatly appreciated and are used only for the provision of Pizza and belts.
I would also like to bring to your attention the http://coolestprojects.org/ Coolest Projects - perhaps have a read and maybe some Ninja's might be interested in entering, we can help hopefully.
Finally any of the parents would like to consider organising a 'party' for the final DoJo could you let me know - it would involve getting some extra treats for the pizza break and we normally hand out the wrist bands.
The final Coderdojo before the summer hols in Dundalk is on Sat 16th June 2018.
