Hi all,

As discussed in our meeting last week, I was looking into setting up a
web forum. I'm please to report that this is now available for use:

http://forum.coderdojo.nl/

The styling is based on an existing theme which I've lightly modified
to reflect the main site at coderdojo.com. The current set-up with
regard to forums, categories etc. is just a concept to get us going
but eaasily changed (even after posts have been made). I'm open to
suggestions on all fronts.

The forum is hosted on a VPS sponsored by Tilaa in return for a banner
on the site. We have space and bandwidth to host other stuff too. Just
now www.coderdojo.nl resolves to the same server and brings you to a
place-holder page. I've been in touch with the guys in Ireland about
maybe hosting a localised version of coderdojo.com there. We could
also offer an "showcase" site for kids to upload their projects (have
a look at http://dojo.hallamor.org/ for example).

Go check it out, see if you can register properly, etc, etc. At the
moment new users' posts are placed in the moderation queue as we'll
need to be very careful about what gets posted where kids will see it.
We are going to need moderators, so let me know if you're interested
in helping out with that too.
