Hi, there,

Once we have a space and a time, what are we planning on doing in
terms of content? And how do we deal with different levels? I raise
this issue because kids and people who are mostly new to programming
can benefit from playing with Scratch, Small Basic, or Ruby kids. More
serious participants may want to learn "real" programming using
professional tools. Ideally we can cater to both groups.

So, what are the plans for content? :)

I think it depends on the age group. I'm working with my wife on funding a programming and electronics club as part of STEM for 6th graders and one idea we are throwing around is using Lego NXT to build enthusiasm. When I was little it was called Lego Logo and it was my first exposure to programming and was extremely exciting. But there are lots of opportunities showcasing how easy it can be to build websites and quickly build animations and content. So I guess the best question it what is our age group, and what is the goal of the curriculum?
