Hi

we're just half way through our current 6-week CoderDojo session, and then we'll be taking a break for the summer. If your children are attending, we hope they are enjoying it.
And if they missed out this time, we will be running our next block of sessions from September as usual.

During the summer we hope to run some special events.

Booking for the first of these events is now live on http://coderdojobray.eventbrite.com : we hope to run a 3-week introduction to coding and CoderDojo: for girls only.
No boys need apply.

We want to encourage more girls to get involved in technology and computing, and we'd like more girls to sign up in September, and so a session just for girls seems like a good idea. Other CoderDojo groups have tried this with great success.

You don't need to have already attended a CoderDojo session to take part - allthough if you have, you are more than welcome: we will have an introduction to making web sites, programming using Scratch, and some electronics projects to choose from. It will run on 3 Saturdays, for just 2 hours in the afternoons, in our usual location of Pres Bray, and our usual age range of 7-17.

At the moment we are targeting Saturday 20th, 27th of July, and 4th August, although those dates might move depending on availability of mentors and premises.

The DojoDivas event will run if we have sufficient numbers ... so visit our EventBrite page and sign up!

Regards
CoderDojo Bray team
