Hi everyone,
I am going through and posting a message to Irish Google groups to let them know that the Coolest Project awards are still open for submission
you can submit your project here
Remember the awards are for cool projects, not for technical, flashy, difficult projects. A 'cool' project is difficult to quantify, yet we know it when we see it, because it has an obvious impact on the world and has been put together in a refreshingly original way. So whether you have a website on frogs, a google map of bus stops, or you have built a stabilising algorithm for a drone submit it now :)
You can read more about the event on this blog post
You can book tickets to attend the event as a general supporter here
http://coolestprojects.eventbrite.com/ we want to get as many cool people into this event as possible. So if you are a mentor, or a champion, reporter, or parent (most of all parent :) then book in now and block of the day for a trip to Dublin.
Finally if you have any contacts in Media make sure to pass on this message and tell them about the CoderDojo story and what it means to be in the coolest collaboration on the planet! Post blog articles tweet it out on #coolestprojects and facebook it on. You can always send on requests from media to
enqu...@coderdojo.com and if you need inspiration for your blog feel free to give us a call.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
Warm regards
Lindsay
