Hi all,
a short message on behalf of Niambh Scullion: one of the mentors in DCU CoderDojo. Niambh and some colleages are looking for volunteers to pilot a "remote mentoring" initiative where kids can get help with their projects via webcam/Google hangout. If this is successful it could be used a model for other Dojos to help kids with their coding projects outside of Dojo time.
For anyone interested, the details follow. Could be a nice way to keep your coding skilz up to snuff during the summer months.
('cos when we come back in September, there will be robots to be built ;-) ).

Niambh's message follows:
Hi,
My name is Niambh Scullion, I am a mentor in the DCU CoderDojo. We are starting a pilot for remote mentoring, via a Google hangout. If you would like help with projects and are interested in dialing in, you can get a ticket at.
http://coderdojoclouddcu.eventbrite.com/.
There are some pre-requisites, you will need a gmail account, and when booking the ticket use the gmail address. We will create a hangout on Friday and send you a link. You may also need to install a plugin for Google hangouts, it only takes a minute.
As with all CoderDojo events, participants under the age of 17, must be accompanied by an adult.
Warm Regards,
Niambh, Alan, Trish and Ben.--
