Hi all

Thanks to everyone for helping out last Friday - it was a massive turnout and went really well....long may it continue.

For next week....

REGISTRATION
As mentioned several times on Friday registration is a weekly process which will open at 6:30 PM on Mondays.

The eventbrite registration website is live at http://coderdojoclonakilty.eventbrite.com so please do go ahead and register your own kids when it opens tomorrow evening (assuming no glitches occur - fingers crossed). Once again it is limited to 60.

I have already sent a reminder email to all who were there on Friday and will send an email also to the schools.

Please let me know if you have any feedback regarding the registration process. We have included additional details such as permission for your child to be photographed and allergy information as has been advised to us.

VENUE 
We won't be in the Carbery Suite for the next 2 weeks but will let you know during the week exactly where we will be. Deirdre is following up on this with David Henry.

CONTENT FOR NEXT WEEK
Scratch - the handouts are working really well so if you can bring some more of those along or if anyone has any more samples....it might be good to have an actual tutorial going on with a group - I have prepared the Aquarium one and will try and work on another....some more guidance for some of the kids might be good....even if we just had that going on at one table...Joseph/Cora - maybe ye could do something like that??

HTML - Ann is going to do some more html moving on from what was done last week.

It would probably also be a good idea to repeat what she did with new kids/kids that want to move on from scratch at another table....I will prepare to deliver that...

OTHER STUFF - if anyone has any more suggestions and/or would be willing to present to the kids...e.g. Javascript, Python, anything in the line of app development etc....just let us know.....or if you know anyone that might be good to get involved etc. etc.

GARDA VETTING
Claire has collected all the garda vetting forms from last Friday. If anyone has yet to complete please bring it along next Fri or drop it to Claire or myself. (Claire - I have 2 more here too).
I am attaching the form if anyone needs it. Also remember to print it out double sided and mark your position as "Coder Dojo Mentor - Clonakilty".

Welcome also to Mary Geaney who I have included in this email - if there is anyone else I should be including in this email please let me know.

Hi all

Just to let you know we will be in the Garden Room this Friday and will probably use the cafeteria as well with a smaller group. It will be a lot tighter on space but the room will be set up differently (long tables etc).  As a result we reduced the number to 50 and it was fully booked by 10pm last night.
