Slide container view and Landscape/potrait repainting

Hi,

As i am developing an app with the tab as being the main menu.

I was wondering if i can incorporate a container which just slides in, replacing the list in the first tab? Like what iOS has as a slideview ...

And also, when the user switch between landscape/potrait view, can the list be repainted and the thumbnail be re-scaled?

Hi,
the entire UI rearranges on rotation so everything is repainted. If you want to shrink/change UI elements for that case you can create your own renderer.

What do you mean by slides in? Like a sidemenu?

I do have my own renderer.
Calculating width and height according to the screen size. Guess its already repainting then.

The other thing, i found out its in the form of container.replaceComponent. Thats really cool and does the job.
