I need to use 'iphone_new' for the bluetooth cn1lib support but it fails codesigning. Using the original 'iphone' has build errors.

To confirm its not to do with the certificates / private key / provisioning profile setup I took an app that doesn't use bluetooth and builds fine on the 'iphone' target and just changed it to 'iphone_new' and got the codesign error.

Code Sign error: No codesigning identities found: No codesigning identities (i.e. certificate and private key pairs) that match the provisioning profile specified in your build settings

Also I think its been mentioned before but it would be great if sources were included when requested even when there is a build error. There are so many times I've been stuck because there is a build error and it just becomes trial and error and firing builds to the server in the hope that it works.

In this case solving code signing errors within xcode would certainly be an option while waiting for a fix or reply. As it is this project needs to be parked for now which puts pressure on down the line.

There is an issue on the include source for build fail. That's a a pretty complex RFE though but it is assigned so we hope to get it done in the 3.6/7 timeline.

We have an announcement on the iphone-new front coming out tomorrow. We'll effectively update the build servers with some huge changes that might break everything but should fix the iphone-new issues (including this one). Assuming that they do... We'll migrate to this, if they don't we might do a few back and forth rounds.
