I followed the steps outlined in your video for creating developer and distribution certificates and provisioning profiles on the Mac.  However, after I double click on the certificates and they appear in the keychain management, I don't appear to have the option to export to .p12.  I have the option to export as .cer, and .p7b, but that's it.

Any idea what circumstances the p12 option would not appear?

Is there an expand button for a private key where you can see 2 entries?
If not is it possible you generated the CSR (certificate signing request) on a different mac from the one in which you are importing?
Its important to do the entire process on the same machine.

I had the same problem.  Turns out the fix was pretty painless.  In Keychain Access, select "login" under "Keychains" on the upper left.  In the lower left "Category" pane select "Certificates".  Locate the certificate you downloaded from the Provisioning Portal.  Click the little arrow to the left of it to expand it.  There should be a private key inside the certificate.  Export that as a P12 and you're good to go.
