I want to build an app for students, and is going to contain advance mathematical equations and charts like the one u see in Fusion-charts (http://www.fusioncharts.com/demos/) , so i will like to know if is possible for me to achieve these features using codenameone or any other 3rd -party library that is compatible with codenameone .

You may use fusioncharts inside html component.

Check out this library from Steve: https://github.com/shannah/CN1-Charts
It wraps the HTML charts within.

Thanks  Jaco and Shai, the flot library its a very nice solution. The flot library is very nice, unfortunately it is incompatible with Blackberry.  Do u have any idea for me on how to display advance mathematical equations, av thought of wrapping around HTMLComponent but not every phone will be able to display them since some phones have an obsolete browsers like J2ME and old RIMs phones

Do u think think wrapping JavaScript libraries like mathjax (http://www.mathjax.org/) aroung HTMLComponent will not have incompatibilities issues since not all browsers have  elaborate HTML rendering capabilities?

HTMLComponent has no javascript support.
If you need RIM support then check out: https://github.com/shannah/CN1Pisces/
You will need to draw the charts yourself but at least it will let you do that with decent graphics capabilities.
