Hi - I got this error today. Not for release builds (which I've been doing the last few weeks - enterprise builds) but for a debug build - so this may not have actually appeared today but I've only just seen it today.

I do use cn1libs - specifically the barcode one and a bouncycastle one.

Just trying to do an iPhone_old build now though it's been queued for a while :(

We just migrated some of the iphone_old servers to the latest so this should speed up current builds.
As part of that we might have broken some things. We made some fixes, if you still experience issues with the current iphone target we will need the full log.

Hi,
it seems that everyone who ran into this issue has used manual certificate generation.
We looked at this intently and so far it seems that the old servers were more lenient towards invalid/expired certificates (revoked or expired).

Open your P12 file on a Mac and see if it was revoked or expired. If the file is a year old then it expired for sure as Apple certificates expire after a year.

I suggest verifying this now, currently the iphone_old build target is a workaround but we will remove it at some point and you don't want to be stuck.

The old tool chain would build successfully with expired or revoked certificates.  You wouldn't receive a failure until you tried to install on device.

If you build with iphone_old, are you able to install the resulting app on a device (non-jail broken )?

To clarify Steves point please check that the P12 certificate wasn't revoked since it was issued.

Another observation we made is that everyone who has issues generated their own certificate. This might be related to the Apple WWDR certificate that expired:
https://developer.apple.com/support/certificates/expiration/

That was a big problem a while back and we had to update all the servers/computers with the new cert. It's possible that those P12 files were generated with the old cert and are failing because of that.

The latest apple certificate is here: https://developer.apple.com/certificationauthority/AppleWWDRCA.cer you need to update your Macs system keychain. Then regenerate the certificate/provisioning...

Unfortunately we don't know for sure if this is the reason...
