That's an appstore build. How did you generate the certificate/provisioning for that?

My company has an enterprise developer account and both the Certificate and provisioning profile were generated via developer website.  This process is nothing new and in the past builds went fine for ios.

If you mean in the past as before we migrated to xcode 7.x then sure.
That changed a few things, you need to select the right type of certificate in the Codename One Settings app under the iOS signing option.

Hello Shai,  I regenerated both the APP ID and the provisioning file with base default options.  I am still getting the same build error.

I checked for the iOS signing options and insured APP store release certificate and provisioning file is set correctly.  FYI, although, the build is sent for APP store build, but it is an enterprise app that will only be published to internal iOS app store and not for for the Apple APP store.  I tried regenerating certificate and provisioning file for the debug build.  I get slightly different error, but errors anyway.

I regenerated distribution certificate and the provisioning profile before sending for App store build. It still failed.

Repeated the same exercise using the development certificate and the provisioning profile and that led to successful debug build.

Update your plugin. This is how that screen should look:
