Hi,

I've been having a play around with the desktop version - which is nice - but it doesn't seem to have an icon for the hamburger menu or the overflow menu. I'm building against version 3.4. Is there anything I need to do (my forms have a white background) or anyway I can get it to use an image of my own? Looking at the source there's no easy way for me to subclass the Toolbar classes and even if I could I'd prefer to avoid that.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi,
with the current version we use the Toolbar in the desktop builds and the menu icon is there. I think it should be there for 3.4 as well...
You can explicitly set the menu icon with a theme constant but I don't think that should be necessary.

Did you style the background/foreground of the Toolbar menu elements?

Hi Shai,

I hit the same problem on the latest.

I have tried to style some elements but have had no luck making a hamburger menu button or overflow menu button appear (they are threr as I can activate the menu). Is there a UIID specifically for the hamburger icon to appear (does this mean the toolbar code draws the icon rather than it being an image)?? Trial and error is proving long winded with having to do build server builds.

Or, if I want to use by own image I should be able to add it to the images in the designer and ensure it has a certain name???

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Hi,
yes. Try setting the MenuButton UIID to have distinct foreground/background colors.

You can also set the image explicitly using the sideMenuImage theme constant.
