The first of my clients to try to run my android app on a chromebook reports that
it starts with a tiny screen, which never gets resized even by the maximize
button.

Having an app size option other than full screen seems like something novel
for the android environment.

We just need to add to our android:configChanges the fields smallestScreenSize|screenLayout. We already handle resizing and automatically adapt the layout so it shouldn't be a problem at all.

Chromebooks also have a touchpad, so they would provide pointer
positioning events, unlike most android devices.

We support such events in desktop and our JavaScript port (which supports Chromebooks).

Also of note, I see that iOS 13 is going to allow bluetooth mice to be attached.

iOS apps can now run on Macs. Hopefully we'll support that too.
