Hello Taurus community,

I am trying to run a selenium test in Taurus however after following the tutorials of setting up Taurus through python, every time I time type bzt in the command line as part of a command, it tells me "'bzt' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.".
I have done pip freeze and confirmed I have Taurus installed, but it is still not working.

Full command with dir in the same place as the test.yml file
bzt test.yml
'bzt' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program
or batch file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Like Surendra Matta suggested, try to locate bzt.exe on your disk and run it by its full path.

Probably that happens because you did not check "Add python.exe to Path" on Python install as suggested on step 1 of Windows install guide here: http://gettaurus.org/docs/Installation/#Windows

A way to fix it is to re-install python and enable that checkbox, that would simplify life for you.

Let us know if it helped.

Yep, that was exactly, my problem. I just fully uninstalled python and then reinstalled it making sure I had the add to path check this time.

Thank for you both for your help!
