Hello PMC,

I wanted to update you on the recent discussion regarding the naming scheme in the following GitHub pull request:
https://github.com/codemeta/codemeta/pull/258

Based on the concerns raised by the community regarding backward compatibility and the desire to avoid confusion regarding the version to use, I have made the decision to initiate a community vote. You can find the details of the vote in the following GitHub discussion thread:
https://github.com/codemeta/codemeta/discussions/306
Vote is open until June 19th.

Please take a moment to review the discussion and participate in the vote to ensure that we reach a consensus on this important matter.

Thank you for your attention.

Best regards,
Morane
