Dear CodeMeta PMC,

We are preparing the v3.0 release for the end of this week and Valentin has already merged a few PRs into the development branch.

As we shared a few weeks ago the vote to choose between a v2.2 and a v3.0, the majority voted towards the v3.0 release without backward compatability.

To finalize the v3.0 we have two major discussion points to validate (or postpone to v4.0) are:

The full milestone is available here:

👉 Please comment directly on the PR if you have any objection before July 5th at 18:00 CEST.

For the v3.0, there were a few issues with proposals without a full discussion or an open PR. In these cases, we have decided to move them to v4.0.

Finally I would like to suggest all contributors in all releases (v1.0, v2.0, v2.1 & v3.0) to be co-authors of CodeMeta.

👉Let me know if you object to this suggestion here or in private and I'll find another solution.

Thank you again for your engagement in this CodeMeta adventure.

Kind regards,
Morane

Thanks Moranne,
I have provided small comments in both PRs. I am happy with your contributor suggestions, but I am not sure if I have a vote since I am one of the contributors in those releases.
Best,
Daniel

Dear PMC,

After a very interesting discussion on the `review` property, we will proceed with the current PRs for the V3.0 release.
Tomorrow I will send the complete list of authors for CodeMeta v3.0.

We still need to decide about the identification of this release.

Kind regards,
Morane
