Clarification regarding session submission window - open until midnight tomorrow

Fellow Codemashers,

There's a bit of confusion surrounding the closing of the session
submission window. I just wanted to clarify that we will keep the
session submission form enabled until midnight TOMORROW, so if you've
been procrastinating, you still have 35 hours and 52 minutes to submit
something.

BTW we're on the verge of breaking another record in terms of session
submission count, thanks to all of you for providing us with such a
wide selection of material!

A few CodeMashers have corrected me on my date-related gaffe. For the
record, the session submission window will be open until midnight
SATURDAY. :-)

It appears that the submissions did end at midnight on Friday. Cannot submit
on Saturday

I think that there's way too much confusion around which day midnight belongs to.  From now on, we'll publicize that submissions end at 11:59 pm EDT on a particular date, I think.

For those of us that got shut out from submitting due to this misunderstanding, can we extend the date till Sunday 11:59 PM ?  Or at least accept submissions via email?

I'll need your bio, phone number and optionally your blog URL and
Twitter handle.

For each submission I'll need a title, abstract, difficulty level
(beginner, intermediate, advanced), technology (Ruby, .NET, Java, Mac/
iPhone, etc), and suggested track (Languages, web dev, rich clients,
dev processes & methodologies, mobile, other).

I should also note that I'm really not all that sympathetic to people
who had 45+ days of time to get submissions in and waited until the
last day and missed the deadline.

Next year we'll do it at 11pm the night of closing so there's no
confusion -- and then nobody gets a free pass... :)

One final clarification: I won't accept any late submission mails
after noon Eastern time tomorrow (Monday, 4 Oct.).
