C++: on throw enabled by default. How to disable?

Thank you for this super nice extension. All works well. But I constantly have to uncheck the C++: on throw checkbox after my app has launched (there are some expected exceptions which are being caught). I couldn't find any way to turn those off by default.

Doesn't VSCode remember the state of those checkboxes?  It does for me.  Under what circumstances do you see them reset to default?
