The time has come… registration for Code Jam 2016 is now open!

Google Code Jam brings together skilled programmers from across the world to compete in multiple online rounds of intense, algorithmic puzzles - and culminates in an onsite World Finals. This year, 26 contestants will win a trip to Google New York for a chance to win $15,000 and be named the 2016 Code Jam Champion. And with the Distributed Code Jam track back and bigger than ever, 15 contestants will join us to compete for $5,000 and the title of Distributed Code Jam Champion. (Yes, you can win both titles!) If you’re new to Code Jam, or just need a refresher, here are a few things to get you started:

To compete, you must:

Register for Code Jam on the official site (g.co/codejam). You will have the opportunity to register for the Distributed Code Jam track if you make it to Round 2 of Code Jam.
Read the Code Jam 2016 Terms and Conditions and check out the changes we have made to the FAQ page.

To prepare, read the Quick-Start Guide so you’re familiar with the contest format and structure. Then practice using these problems from previous contests.
