Active record and regular mysql not updating.

I have tried updating using codeigniter's active record. I also did an update using php's native mysql_connect using the same credentials.

The rows are not being updated with the codeigniter framework.

Anyone ever have this problem?

Maybe your database user doesn't have permissions for that?
