Offline apps in Codeigniter

Has anyone tried creating HTML 5 offline apps in codeigniter? If so, how does your .manifest file look like?

This is probably a noob question, but when you mean "offline" app do you mean like running a CI app off a CD/flash disk without having to install PHP/MySQL and Apache?

If yes, I would love to know how to do that!

I mean caching of web pages and using html 5 capabilities like local storage.

I think just work your app as usual, the cache manifest as per standard can take absolute paths or even absolute urls
