Hello everyone,
I know that this group has been quiet for a while but I felt this
might be a good time and place to introduce www.codedincountry.org.
You are all familiar with the concept of CiC so I'll be brief:
codedincountry.org is an initiative to promote the use of in-country
technical capacity (developers and related companies).
Right now we're mostly focusing on building up a solid base of case
studies highlighting coded in country activities, projects, and
organizations. We'll see where it takes us from there!
I'm very excited about this and have been very encouraged by the
enthusiasm of people regarding CiC. I hope that you will take some
time to check out the website and please feel free to reach out with
ideas for case studies, companies you've heard of, or suggestions
regarding the initiative itself.
