Potential meetup with guest speaker Michael Tiemann

CodeCraft has been contacted by Otago University staff who are hosting Michael Tiemann in October (the 22nd / 23rd). Michael is the Vice President Open Source Affairs at RedHat.

There is an introduction in the Google Group email but the bit I thought might be interesting for the group is:

I can talk about how open source—then and now—has been the ballast keeping tech afloat as too many go overboard thinking AI will solve all our problems.

Perhaps these are better dinner conversations that classroom conversations. I’m happy to engage in either context, or both!"
