June Midyear Meetup

Hi everyone

Firstly a big thank you to Mark for presenting last month. The call is out for a speaker in July - perhaps someone wanting to practice for a conference presentation?

I have just confirmed that we can meet at the Startup Dunedin space for our June meeting on Tuesday June 3rd.

As we planned we are having our Midyear / Mid Winter (ish) / Matariki (ish) meeting with short talks from anyone who wants to speak. We have one speaker so far, Marie Destandau has offered to present a short introduction to accessibility concerns that I am really looking forward to. Please either use the Meetup comments, direct message or the CodeCraft Google Group to let me know if you want to talk.

We are also able to have drinks and nibbles in the Startup space (although of course we are going to Eureka afterwards anyway). In the past we have put in a few dollars (only for those happy to do so) to cover costs and then donated any excess to a local charity. Please let me know if we want to try this again and I can get this organised.

I could put together a few minutes about nom https://docs.rs/crate/nom/8.0.0 - recently used it to parse text messages from an LTE modem.

Agreed. I've looked at that crate before so I'd be keen to see how you've used it.
