October (casual) Meetup

Hi everyone

Apologies for not getting anything lined up this month. I will be there tonight and would love to briefly discuss two things before anyone who wants (ie me at least) head to Eureka.

I am hoping that there will be an event this month speaking with Michael Tiemann. Unfortunately my contact with him has been patchy but he still seems keen to connect with people from the group. He recently told me he started as a member of the GNU C++ compilier team (I believe), moved to RedHat and is recently focused on climate modelling which he seems keen to talk about.

The second thing I would love to hear about is whether their are any other volunteers who would like to help in organising events for CodeCraft...
