Good News with regards to this years Startup School from Y-Combinator:

Andrew/Informatics Ventures has offered to pay 50% of the airfare for
anyone who has been accepted.

We have also started a crowdsourced fund which has (so far) £40
pledged towards topping up the costs, and more to come (various
mysterious networks are being mobilised...)

Sooo, get your applications in...
And, I will be going round with a big tin at the next tech meetup so
remember to bring your wallets...
